What's usually recoverable
- Accidentally deleted files — recoverable, often within an hour
- Files lost to a crashed OS — recoverable in almost all cases (the files are still there)
- Corrupted SD cards / USB drives — recoverable most of the time
- Drives that won't mount but spin up — usually recoverable
- Locked-out cloud accounts — recoverable with patience and proof-of-identity
What's harder
- Mechanical hard drive failure (clicking, won't spin) — clean-room work, expensive, sometimes the only path. We refer to specialists for this.
- SSD controller failure — much harder than HDD recovery. Sometimes impossible. We'll tell you upfront.
- Encrypted drives without the key — usually impossible.
- Ransomware-encrypted files — depends on the variant. Some have decryptors. Some don't.
How it works
- Bring the device or call us — first half-hour is free diagnostic
- We tell you what's recoverable, what's not, what it costs
- You decide whether to proceed
- We recover what we can to a clean drive of your choice
- You only pay if we recover something useful
What it costs
Logical recovery (OS / accidental deletion / corruption): $199 flat to start, sometimes more depending on scope. Clean-room mechanical recovery (referrals): usually $500-$2,500 and we'll tell you it's a referral, not us.
And — back up your stuff
The best data recovery is a backup. We'll set you up with one in under an hour, and after that your files are protected forever.
